Terms and Conditions for Deerness Gymnastics Recreational Classes
1. General Information
By enrolling in our recreational gymnastics class, you acknowledge and agree to abide by the following terms and conditions.
2. Registration and Fees
All participants must have British Gymnastics membership at a Community level. You can do this through the following link: Signup - JustGo
Fees are non-refundable unless the class is cancelled by the facility. No refunds will be issued for missed classes or withdrawals after the start of the session.
Payment is due before the start of each term or as specified during registration.
3. Attire and Equipment
Participants must wear appropriate gymnastics attire, including comfortable clothing and bare feet, socks or gym shoes.
Long hair should be tied back, and jewellery should not be worn during class. If jewellery cannot be removed, it must be taped.
4. Safety and Conduct
All participants must follow the coach's guidance and safety instructions at all times.
Any behaviour deemed disruptive or unsafe may result in removal from the class.
The facility is not responsible for any injuries that occur during class due to negligence or failure to follow safety instructions.
5. Parental Supervision
Children not participating in the class (siblings, friends, etc.) must be supervised by an accompanying adult at all times.
The facility does not provide supervision for non-participating children. Non-participating children must remain in the designated viewing area.
6. Health and Medical Conditions
Parents/guardians must inform the instructor of any health or medical conditions that may affect the participant’s ability to safely participate in the class.
If a participant is feeling unwell or injured, they should notify the class coach.
7. Liability Waiver
By enrolling in the gymnastics class, you acknowledge that there is an inherent risk of injury associated with physical activities and voluntarily accept all responsibility for any injury sustained during class participation.
The facility is not responsible for lost or stolen personal items.
8. Code of Conduct
All participants, parents, and guardians must maintain respectful behaviour towards staff, other participants, and the facility.
Any violation of the code of conduct may result in removal from the class or the facility.
